Part of our ongoing public art project, Strong Women.

Drop-in to one of these free workshops, where you’re invited to create and decorate a clay heart, in dedication to a strong woman. Choose someone you know who inspires you, or dedicate a heart to a local heroine!

Award-winning artist Carrie Reichardt is creating a new public artwork for Kirkby, made out of heart-shaped ceramic tiles, celebrating the women of Knowsley. Come along and add your voice by sharing stories of the strong women you admire.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund grant for new Strong Women project

We are delighted to announce that Heart of Glass has been awarded a grant of £95,998 from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, to develop a new art project celebrating women in St Helens and Knowsley, and street art. Apply for a mentorship by Sunday 28th May.
