Nature walks
This Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th November at 1pm, join artist Frances Disley and Green Space Ranger Tony as they lead a short 30 minute wander into the park looking at the species of trees that are growing and the plants that surround them.
Attendees should meet at the Environment Centre at 1pm and wrap up warm!
Creative workshop
On Thursday 10th November from 12.30pm - 2.00pm, artist Frances Disley will lead a creative session exploring things found in the wood. You'll get a chance to make small sculptures using clay and flora and fauna, weave garlands from ivy and willow and make prints using bark and leaves.
This is an informal drop in session, with no booking required - come along for a bit, or stay for the whole session.
This is an opportunity for local folks to meet the artist, as well as other residents and to find out more about our upcoming work in partnership with Knowsley Parks. More information about this project coming soon!
