Celebrating IDAHOBIT 2022

We're celebrating this year's IDAHOBIT in style by teaming up with Many Hands One Heart and Sahir House to bring you a fabulous online event. The theme of this years event is “Our Bodies, Our Lives, Our Rights” and to explore this theme we have an awesome lineup of performances and speeches by Many Hands One Heart alongside representatives of support organisations, activists and experts from across Merseyside.

Since 2016, Many Hands One Heart has led the local celebration for the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), raising awareness of the experiences of LGBTQ+ Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Originally founded by Sahir House and Merseycare, the event has been an annual celebration of queerness. In 2021 Heart Of Glass joined the partnership to develop this event.
