Kerry Morrison

Kerry is a socio-ecological artist with a PhD in environmental science. Her work explores human and more-than-human connections with the environment: how we move through it, manage it, take from it, and add to it. In 2011, Kerry co-founded In-Situ, a non-profit arts organisation with a vision for art to make a positive difference for society and environment.

Examples of recent work include: WetlandLIFE, UKRI research project (2017-2020); the Natural Honey Bee Garden, Chester Zoo (2018); and Pendle Peat [restoration] Pie, Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership (2019 – 2022). These projects explore ways of seeing and knowing landscapes and species through creative interaction and co-creation with others and nature.
