Andrea Ku is a socially engaged Liverpool artist creating joyful, hands-on work rooted in justice for nature and community care. Through beekeeping, food growing and tree planting, she brings people together in accessible, inclusive public spaces where creativity, learning and collective action can thrive. Her practice uses comedy, improvisation and collaboration to break down barriers, challenge patriarchy, colonial legacies and environmental injustice and make difficult conversations feel open and human. Working with communities rather than on them, Andrea creates shared experiences that nurture belonging, confidence and ecological connection, while imagining fairer, wilder and more caring futures for people and the natural world.
