Two Small Cinema evenings in December attracted sell out audiences at the former Unitarian Church on Corporation Street.
A special mini film season was launched with screenings of ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ and ‘Calvary’, at the former Unitarian Church in Corporation Street with more than 80 cinema goers attending. Apart from enjoying the films, information was provided at the screenings about the ambition to convert the hall into a permanent small cinema and the possibilities to join in and help make this ambition a reality.
The project is being driven by Take 2 films and Re-Dock, with the support of the YMCA who are making the hall available for the project. Volunteers offered their time to make the evenings a success and more will follow on the Small Cinema project.
