The King’s Singers deliver Masterclass in St Helens

Back to News

A prototype project recently came to life with The Cowley Singers enjoying a masterclass with The King’s Singers.

With Beverly Jones and Gill Mather as the key driving force behind the idea, The Cowley Singers from St Helens, hosted The King’s Singers for an afternoon at St Helens Town Hall. The workshop really accentuated the positive aspects of the choir whilst providing feedback and suggestions to achieve the best possible sound.

It was also a great opportunity to invite the St Helens Ladies Choir to join them, with their Musical Director, Patricia Lewis, who acted as our accompanist.

At the end of the masterclass, there was a Q&A and signing session, and the King’s Singers ended the day by singing their own version of Jingle Bells.
