Twelve months on from selling out The Citadel – Scottee is back in St Helens.
The artist curated TakeOverFest in 2015, a three-week festival that included haunted tours of The Hotties furnaces, comedy in cabs and shows at Central Library and The Citadel.
The festival finished with a rip-roaring night of cabaret and he is returning to the venue this Saturday (December 17th) for more of the same.
A new show, Party Piece, will again be compered by Scottee with performances from his “amazingly talented and a bit weird” gang of friends.
He said: “I’m proper excited about being back in the land of pie barms! In the past St. Helens folk have always been up for the silly, stupid and sometimes ridiculous things I’ve thrown at them.”
“It was great to sell out The Citadel last December and the atmosphere in there was amazing, there were lots of people that were setting foot in that theatre for the first time – and we want to see more of that.
“Party Piece is going to really test you lot on what constitutes entertainment – it’ll be a bit like the rubbish ones of Britain’s Got Talent, only funnier!”
Scottee’s Party Piece takes place at The Citadel on Saturday, December 17th from 8pm. Tickets are priced £10 and available at www.citadel.org.uk or on the door on the night.
