Phase 2 Prototype Projects Launched

We are currently seeking proposals for the second phase of the Heart of Glass Prototype Projects. More information available at upcoming public events.

The first event comes this Thursday (October 9th 2014) at The Citadel Arts Centre, Waterloo Street, St Helens from 6pm to 7.30pm.

The night will give artists the chance to meet Heart of Glass Director Patrick Fox and gain advice on the process. Patrick will be joined by Debbie Chan, an independent project manager, producer and consultant, who has committed over 15 years to the arts sector.

Entertainment will include a performance by The Cowley Singers and an artist presentation from Re-Dock.

The Cowley Singers are a successful applicant from phase one of the Prototype Projects process and will be performing and sharing the latest news on their project.

Re-Dock is led by artists and filmmakers, Sam Meech, Hwa Young Jung, Tim Brunsden & Neil Winterburn, Re-Dock are a community interest company established in 2008 to develop and deliver high quality creative projects throughout the North West of England and beyond.

A spokesperson for Heart of Glass, said: “The advice events are a great chance for us to talk indepth with artist about their micro-commission visions. We want to support applicants all the way and these events are a great starting point for artist.”
